I am a Psychodynamic Psychotherapist with many years of academic and clinical experience. I have worked for 15 years as a Senior Clinician and Clinical Service Manager in Specialist Mental Health services (Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust, various services), in third sector charities (Mental Health Foundation, Video Interaction Guidance Association) and in private practice as a Psychotherapist and Clinical Supervisor and Trainer.
Professional Background
In my private practice I specialise in working with individual adults (from young adults to older age), offering psychotherapy to a broad range of psychological and emotional difficulties (such as anxiety, depression, personality difficulties, psychological issues related to physical symptoms), working flexibly depending on the particular problems and needs of each individual.
I also provide psychodynamically informed consultations to couples and families, drawing upon my experience in working with complex families for many years in Specialist services in the NHS.
I regularly offer Clinical Supervision at various frequency and teaching for professionals working with adults, children and highly complex families.
I hold an MSc in Psychology (Panteion University of Political and Social Sciences), an MSc in Child and Adolescent Mental Health (Institute of Psychiatry), Postgraduate Diplomas in Foundations in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy and in Inter-cultural Psychodynamic Psychotherapy (Tavistock NHS Trust) and have attended two years of studies in Inter-disciplinary Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy (Tavistock NHS Trust). I am a prospective candidate in training in Psychoanalysis.
